About me

I combine economics and project management with experience running my own systems.

Who I am

My name is Tycho Schottdorf and I live in Cologne. I studied economics (B.Sc.) and hold the Projektmanager (IHK) qualification from the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce. I consult in German and English.

What I bring to the work

From economics: comparing alternatives and considering costs over time. From project management: defining the objective, who is responsible, and the criteria for judging the result. For AI projects that means: what should improve in everyday work, what does it cost, and how would you tell?

Complexity has to earn its place

Every extra component needs a reason to be there. I look at whether a simpler solution would do the job with less work to keep it running.

I give you independent advice. I don’t sell products or earn sales commissions.
